A large client was focused on top-grading their field leadership and had openings in several key leadership roles – significantly impacting financial performance. They struggled to find the caliber of leadership demanded by these critical roles.

Changing the Game
Our client wanted to expand their sales force in two critical but underserved segments – financial industry and retail clients. Establishing a dedicated sales force for each would allow the client to be more competitive in the market and capture significantly more market share. Goals included getting the initial sales force in place in all districts by the end of the year and recruiting top sales personnel from key competitors to quickly gain market share in targeted segments.
CognITek worked with senior sales, HR and talent acquisition leadership to develop a program to bring on 11 sales professionals per segment. We would reach this goal in the allotted timeframe through a targeted recruiting initiative and formal focused hiring events held at the client’s headquarters. CognITek provided a dedicated team of expert recruiters, an operational leader, and key leadership involvement and acted as the exclusive talent partner for the client for this project.
Key elements of the solution:

After an intensive search, CognITek determined that the client requirements in terms of candidate experience, compensation, and business development capabilities were unattainable in the given market. Customer Surge Capacity
CognITek’s client, a medium-sized Technology Services company, was having difficulty meeting SLA’s during high demand periods and in secondary markets across the US. This resulted in dissatisfaction among clients, significant re-work from ineffective subcontractors and lost revenues. CognITek was engaged to develop a cost effective solution that would improve performance while maintaining acceptable margins.
CognITek completed a full assessment of the challenges and designed a surge capability that allowed our client to deploy resources to install, repair and replace equipment at customer locations within their 24 hour SLA and included a real time customer satisfaction survey/sign-off to ensure customer satisfaction.
Within 4 weeks CognITek designed a regionally-focused solution and identified a national network of partners to deliver the needed services.
